Senior VP of Strategic Relationships

Job Description

The Senior VP of Strategic Relationships is the champion and owner for the company’s Referral Partner channel. This includes both individual and organizational partners, ISV/VARS, Associations, and Financial Institutions. The primary objective of the SVP of Strategic Relationships is to continually increase the number of sales leads generated from partners, by continually increasing the number of the company’s partners and driving ongoing engagement with them.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

This role is a player coach and will require the SVP to be responsible for personally developing new partners, as well as, supporting partners. Additionally, this role will be responsible for building and managing a team to drive and support continued growth of the program, according to corporate objectives.

Existing Partner Development

  • Drive engagement of major Referral Affiliate partners

          Referral Partner Strategic Plan

  • Work with the Executive team on the development of the strategic plan for the Referral Partner Channel

           Brand Ambassador for International Bancard

  • Build and begin to execute plan to leverage personal network with goals to drive new partners and prospects daily

Industry Knowledge

  • Develop sufficient knowledge of the company value proposition to effectively promote the company at a high level in a brand ambassador situation.

  • Identify target prospects in each product segment and be able to have high level conversation about the value of the product to the prospect

Reporting/Accountability

  • Responsible for management of the referral partner channel team and results and achieving corporate goals

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING and/or EXPERIENCE:

  1. Proven track record of success and progression of 10-12 years within partner/customer relationship management in the B2B sales environment.

  2. Prefer Payment Processing industry experience with respect to Visa/MasterCard, other card types and a working knowledge of macro trends and execution of details preferred

  3. Proven track record of direct experience managing corporate relationships with multiple facets.

  4. Demonstrated experience coordinating services across multiple departments to manage customer relationship experience and drive revenue.

  5. Prefer Payment Processing industry experience with respect to Visa/MasterCard, other card types and a working knowledge of macro trends and execution of details preferred

  6. Must be Collaborative, Self-Directed, and Self-Confident!
