Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Support Manager is responsible for the overall Partner Experience with International Bancard as it pertains to all Sales Support functions for both the direct and indirect sales force. The Sales Support Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating their team, processes and process improvements on an on-going basis, building a first in class partner experience with each interaction.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Work effectively with executive and management teams to ensure consistent execution of corporate strategy and to support an atmosphere of teamwork at all times.

  • Provides continuous improvement feedback to the executive leadership team.

  • Oversee the Sales Support team, providing on-going coaching, motivating and mentoring of all team members.

  • Perform call reviews and quality control checks for all team members on a regular basis.

  • Develop and maintain performance standards and metrics for all team members – raise the bar and expectations.

  • Develop and maintain an on-going program to improve the overall partner experience, setting the standard of what and who International Bancard is.

  • Drive Process Improvements finding root causes of issues; developing and deploying new and/or improved policies and procedures that drive positive change.

  • Manage and handled all escalated partner inquires. Face to face meetings with partners as required.

  • Works continually towards self-development to stay current on service and supervisory procedures and practices.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, UW & Risk, Finance and IT to ensure that partner requirements are clearly defined and addressed accurately and sufficiently.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including attendance, by leading by example.

  • Maintains and updates contact information in our proprietary Customer Relationship Management system, Passport, as needed.

  • Identifying partner needs, positioning appropriate solution(s) and acquiring new partner relationships where appropriate.

  • Learning the technical expertise and having confidence in our solutions to position against competing products and services.

  • Set, track and hold oneself and team accountable to key performance indicators, providing regular reporting and updates to the VP of Operations.

  • Work with the VP of Sales Development to drive the partner channel and to enhance deal count.

  • Employee must comply with all International Bancard Merchant Program Standards, Reporting, Card Issuing Bank Rules and Merchant Service Level Agreements.

  • Other duties as requested and assigned.

 

Primary Sales Support team functions include but are not limited to:

  • Point of contact for all active outside ISO Agents, Direct Sales Team Members, Recruiters, etc.

  • Liaison between partners and internal IB departments.

  • Onboard new partners and clients – check paperwork, execute agreement, upload paperwork, configure Schedule As, and provide partner training.

  • Assign and reassign leads as required.

  • Assist partners with questions, account set-up, pricing, data entry, deal submittal & review as needed.

  • Provide Statement Analysis / Proposals.

  • Research concerns pertaining to bonuses, residuals, and lease payments when necessary.

  • Provide backup support for other operational areas of the business.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 2 years payment processing industry experience preferred.

  • A minimum of 2-4 years Management experience required.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, and Power Point

  • Excellent Communication Skills

  • Leadership capabilities

  • Persistent follow up

  • Sense of urgency for goal achievement, strong commitment to drive results

  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills and ability to think and plan strategically
