Job Description

The Chief Revenue Officer will be a proven sales leader with a demonstrated track record of success motivating a sales organization to achieve company sales goals and revenue objectives in a high-growth environment. The right candidate will have a strong sense of urgency to create and maintain a sustainable winning culture. This person will develop and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring excellent training, methods and the highest ethics.

 

This position requires a self-starter who can work with limited direct supervision, is entrepreneurial in spirit, and has strong leadership skills that align to helping the company achieve quarterly and annual revenue objectives.

 

The Chief Revenue Officer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of International Bancard’s revenue streams. The CRO will have ultimate accountability for driving revenue growth, by leveraging and aligning all revenue-generating departments: Marketing, Direct and Indirect Sales, ISVs/VAR Channel, and Strategic Partnerships.

 

​ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Ability to optimize team results through hands-on leadership, engagement in sales cycles, performance management, rewards and recognition, and coaching.

  • Responsible for driving and achieving sales goals, profitability and business relationships, and optimizing new and existing account and business partner relationships

  • Develop incentive plans, targets, forecasting and management of sales team performance. 

  • Understand industry trends and effectively position IB products and services to drive sales opportunities.

  • Must be a team player and willing to support the culture of International Bancard.

  • Ability to work in a cooperative and supportive manner with Executive Leadership Team.

  • Embrace and drive IB’s core values both personally, as well as for any member of the team.

  • Responsible for the execution of the National Sales plan, National Marketing plan and the overall partner development plan. 

  • Develop, manage, train and mentor the marketing and sales professionals on a consistent, weekly, basis for maximum productivity.

  • Responsible for the management of the outside and inside sales force as well as oversight to the Marketing Team.

  • Support the growth of International Bancard’s referral partnerships such as associations, organizations, VAR partners, through direct efforts as well as driving this objective through the entire sales force.

  • Provide ongoing reporting to the CEO in a timely and effective manner.  They will be responsible for driving all reporting of the sales and marketing team.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING and/or EXPERIENCE: 

  • Minimum of 15+ years with a proven track record or success with sales and marketing within the payment processing services space, required.

  • BA in business/economic discipline with an MBA preferred

  • Strong knowledge of all specific payment industry requirements

  • A strategic thinker who can architect a marketing and sales strategy while also being tactical and hands-on in the rollout of operational initiatives.

  • Project planning experience, including managing multiple projects within a budget constraint is a must.

  • Previous experience rolling up sleeves and being directly responsible for the cradle to grave development and release of product(s) and business development programs

  • Highly skilled in negotiations with strong business acumen.

  • Ability to inspire and lead a team of marketing and sales professionals.

  • Ability to significantly increase sales through marketing and business development is a must.

  • High level of integrity, energetic, competitive, highly motivated, goal-oriented, outstanding interpersonal, time management, professional and leadership skills

  • Strong ability to effectively communicate (oral and written)

  • Persistent follow up on statement analysis and proposed commitments

  • Manage the Merchant Services business within our predefined key performance indicators

  • Full understanding of the workflow and on boarding process from statement analysis to Merchant activation

  • Sense of urgency for goal achievement, strong commitment to driving sales results

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically

  • Ability to travel as needed
